Passport AR is made by *no campfire required. We are a story partnership passionate about creating a space for humans to connect with each other through shared experience. We make interactive stories, designing both the immersive experiences and the best of the technology behind them.
Our story experiences can happen once or be infinitely replayed. Audiences can find them online or in real life or both. They’re special because they’re customized, and because everything is built with audience interaction in mind.
We are *no campfire required because we create an alternative setting to the campfires of old. The asterisk in *no campfire required marks us as just a little bit different. We’re that key detail that you don’t want to forget, that just makes everything a little more intriguing. If you take a step back, the asterisk is also a view from above of the story circle that used to gather around a campfire. We wanted to make sure the circle was still there, despite there being no campfire required.
Our team is as diverse as the stories we tell. We speak English, French, Portuguese, Italian, Greek and Spanish. We are from Canada, Switzerland, Brazil and Australia.

After working with some of the world’s best sports storytellers at the International Olympic Committee in Switzerland, Emily came home to Toronto to co-found our company. You’ll often find our CEO talking online and in person about how leveraging technology to build story worlds and community can level up products and services for your customers and keep them coming back.
Marco has 25 years experience in software and has been at the pinnacle of closing complicated transactions and negotiating with high-level executives. He is a real people person and leads win-win deal-making with vigour.
An original in the world of interactive content, advertising and computer graphics, Paulo, *no campfire required’s AR and Unity Specialist, is forever on the edge of what’s new. He’s responsible for development and game design using the newest technologies.
Paul stimulates enthusiasm in others around him. He brings over 20 years experience in social entrepreneurship, broadcast journalism, transmedia, civic engagement and leadership development.
Combining a decade of experience in multimedia content creation and distribution with 6 years in private wealth management, Rob is a three-way bridge connecting traditional communication strategies, story world concept design, and “behaviourally progressive” big data insights that make a big difference.
